Purpose: heroic
Base of Operations: a satellite headquarters orbitting the Earth
History: The Earth's premiere team of super-heroes began when four aliens from three worlds escaped the captivity of the conqueoring race known as the Destroyers. The four found sanctuary on Earth and allies in five costumed heroes of their new homeworld. Together in 1968, the nine formed the initial line up of an ever changing heroic roster.
As a group, the Justice Gang faced many threats - from conquering tyrants both from other worlds and their own, to costumed criminals, to natural disasters. No matter what the opposition, the group was there to do whatever they could to turn the tide of justice.
Though the group dynamic began first as just colleagues, over time it became so much more. Long lasting friendships developed between members. Some became romantically involved. With the induction of some children of current and former members, the group even took on a more family like facet. Currently the group's roster is a mix of an older generation of seasoned experience with a younger set who can gain from the mentoring.
